Capabilities
The user can transform subjects, including matter, energy, beings, powers, concepts, etc., into data. The subject can either be transformed completely, partially, permanently or temporarily depending on what level of power the user has, with some users being able to induce and reverse the effect at will.
This ability is primarily used to convert physical matter into digital data in order to transitioning objects between the physical and digital realms. By touching or focusing on an item, they break it down into streams of pure information, encoding its structure, composition, and properties into a digital format. This data can then be stored within a designated system, whether it be an internal database, an external device, or even a vast cyberspace accessible at will.
Once digitized, objects are not merely stored but can also be manipulated within their encoded state. The user may alter an item's shape, density, or even function before restoring it to reality, effectively granting them the ability to reshape the world as they see fit. Through advanced control, they can seamlessly summon stored objects back into the real world, materializing them in their original form or in an altered state as dictated by their digital modifications.
Beyond simple storage and retrieval, the user may also transfer digitized objects through data streams, sending them across networks, embedding them within virtual constructs, or integrating them with advanced technologies. A weapon can be uploaded into a cyberspace domain and then downloaded in an entirely different location, circumventing conventional physical barriers. Similarly, digitized objects can be projected as holographic constructs, allowing the user to create interactive simulations or virtual representations that exist in both physical and digital forms.
More advanced applications of this ability allow the user to digitize themselves, converting their body into pure data and traveling through networks at incomprehensible speeds. This grants them access to restricted digital landscapes, enables instant transportation between connected systems, and allows them to evade physical harm by retreating into cyberspace when necessary. While in digital form, they may interact with data on a fundamental level, bypassing security systems, altering electronic infrastructures, or even manifesting themselves as an avatar capable of engaging with both real and virtual environments.
In combat, this power becomes a devastating force. The user can dissolve enemies, rendering them into pure data and either releasing them harmlessly, modifying them to their whims, or trapping them indefinitely within the digital world. Incoming attacks can be neutralized by converting projectiles or energy blasts into harmless data streams before they reach their target. Defensive barriers, no matter how strong, become meaningless if they are simply digitized and erased from existence. This ability allows the user to dictate the battlefield, making them nearly untouchable as they deconstruct and reconstruct the environment and everything in it at will.
The scope of the ability extends beyond mere storage and transportation; it is a means of redefining the nature of existence itself. Objects are no longer bound by the limitations of physical space, and even reality itself becomes malleable in the hands of one who masters this extraordinary power.
