"Well, technically alive implies the existence of a soul, free will, and the ability to enjoy fondue. I would just call this animated."
― Doofenshmirtz explaining how his Animate-Inator works (Milo Murphy's Law)

The power to animate inanimate subjects. Sub-power of Life-Force Manipulation. Not to be confused with Life Creation, Sentience Inducement or Entity Creation. Opposite to Inanimation.

Capabilities

The user can give life to inanimate objects/matter/energy/concepts/the dead, animating them to move and otherwise act on their own accord. Though capable of operating purely independent of their animator's control, they can still function as extensions of their will, allowing the animator to potentially be able to command, control and otherwise influence them to varying degrees. This can include allowing the target to act in ways that they otherwise wouldn't be able to under their own power, such as flying. In some cases, the user's power over their material can allow them to shape and mold it into a variety of forms and make it resemble various objects, entities, images and other shapes that can change at will. The element could even be used as a medium for the user to display thoughts and memories, as well as any sounds or visuals they encounter.
