The user can project a field that slows time inside of it. To an outside observer, the victims inside will appear to be standing still, while they are actually moving, very slowly. The user can essentially trap others inside the field for years. Victims inside the field, should they escape, may find days, months, years or even centuries have passed outside the field. In most cases, these fields can vary in shape, size and range, though they are often spherical, and can be made to selectively target specific subjects, including entities, objects, powers, concepts, etc., or be made to target everything inside them, affecting entire areas indiscriminately.
