- "Stop it!"
"An' sonny does it — literally freezin' wings in mid-air — but no ice... More like he's trapped in — space? Time?" - ― Angel and Gambit regarding the effects of New Sun's kinetic immobilization power. (Marvel Comics)

Limitations
- Weak against Acceleration Immunity, Kinetic Charging, and Motion Bestowal.
- Exposure to this power can lead to fatal collapse.
- Users of either Immutability, or Property Locking are immune.
- If the employed effect happens to be temporary in terms of this ability, the target would've possibly attacked the user by surprise.
- If it's permanent, if the target happens to be accidental and without motive, the user might not have the power to give them back motion, even if they don't own the ability to control motion to begin with.
- May require physical contact/touching to steal motion.
- Surprise attack powers and/or weaponry, like for example Optic Blasts, might come in useful against the user, meaning he/she will have to be very cautious no matter how the power functions, whether ranged or requiring physical touch.
