Capabilities

The user possesses the power to perceive/recognise instants. Instants are the shortest/smallest possible occurrences/intervals of time; as frames are to a movie or pages are to a flip-book, instants are to time and reality; the infinitesimally small intervals/slices/snap-shots that make it up where nothing changes, or even can’t change, throughout.

To perceive instants would be to see time and reality pass frame-by-frame, and not a continuous flow of time. At this level of perception, time might not even “pass” at all, and may just be a collection of stills and possible stills. It's impossible to know how many instants are in a second, potentially infinite.
